Messenger

Review by Trenton Whitaker

Messenger is a number-one social networking app worldwide by Facebook. It’s designed to provide instant messaging services to all Facebook account owners without overwhelming them with features. The service is split into 2 full-scale apps today, and it makes all interactions much simpler without cutting the actual number of mobile features.

It Can Do a Lot

Currently, the Messenger can do all the things that are unavailable for the main Facebook app. Here you can use the instant messaging service to chat with friends, relatives, and colleagues via private and group chats. If you’re using a group chat, you can brighten up the conversation with polls, stickers, and other exciting stuff.

If you’re using Facebook for your business, you will enjoy the fast file-sharing interface. It lets you send photos, audio recordings, reactions, videos, and a variety of file extensions. Unfortunately, the largest size of the file that you can send is just 25MB. If you want to send something large, you can share direct links from Google Drive, Dropbox, and similar services.

In addition, you can use the app to make group audio and video calls. The latest update introduced rooms that let you invite up to 50 people without time limitations, which is more than many calling apps offer.

Simple Useful

Although the app includes so many features, you won’t have any difficulties while searching for a feature for the first time. The application seamlessly integrates with Facebook on all compatible devices, optimizing your experience on the social network. Beyond the functionalities mentioned, the app also allows for instantaneous money transfers within the United States. Simply link a card or PayPal account, and you're ready to send funds quickly.

Total Interconnection

The dedicated Messenger app is currently available only for iOS, iPad OS, and Android because your computer lets you access the service via any browser and obtain the full functionary. The simplified mobile version is what we really need to make things faster.

Recommended

Almost everyone uses Facebook today, and Messenger is the only way to obtain the messaging features of the platform on your mobile device. You can join anytime for free and enjoy unlimited communication with close people and colleagues at no cost. This app makes things much simpler and avoids the clutter of the browser version of Facebook. Moreover, it’s frequently updated to become even more versatile.
