They worship the warship

Welcome to the grim and dangerous world of the future. World, where a major disaster occurred leaving smoldering ashes of what used to be our blooming civilization. A planetary deluge has washed away the continents, countries, and cities, leaving merely tiny islands of land over which people have to struggle now.

Only those who have the biggest and top-tier, scientifically upgraded fleet can survive in  Battle Warship: Naval Empire.

It's a naval strategic online game in which you'll have to:

  • Deal with the pirates, by sinking their rusty vessels to the bottom of the ocean, where they can say "Hello" to Sponge Bob.
  • Partake in the massive naval battles with other players.
  • Unlock, collect, and upgrade warships, carriers, etc.
  • Manage your finances and Uranium wisely.
  • Defend your base. And honor.

The game has a pretty decent versatility, so the unit classes available include:

  • Warship.
  • Carries.
  • Aircraft.

And each class has a variety of units for every taste, budget, and destruction thirst! Steel Predator, Pirate Terminator, CAIC Z-10, Vulcan v2 - the unit names just can't fail to inspire you to become the next Supreme Admiral of Battle Warship: Naval Empire!

Pay-to-win or Fight-to-win?

Although Battle Warship: Naval Empire is free to download, it features multiple microtransactions. Numerous gamers have voiced their concerns about the high costs associated with the game, which often necessitates spending between $500 and $1000 to maintain a competitive edge.

Moreover, most of the important and global game events - like massive battles - occur at night in America.

At the same time, game developers claim that taking down a stronger player, who paid for fancy warships and equipment is hard but possible. A successful operation will need:

  • An alliance of players.
  • The strategy was developed in advance.
  • Well-coordinated action.
  • Using Tier-1 ships for defense and attack carriers for offense (against the enemy's base).

As a result, the arrogant super-strong enemy may lose the whole battle or at least a number of high-tier (T2/T3) warships, which is also a considerable casualty.

Picturesque battles

Battle Warship: Naval Empire is a nicely designed and animated game. It has a post-apocalyptic touch to it, so the warship and base platforms/facilities bear a noticeable portion of brutality. Guess being sentimental doesn't help surviving in the ocean-flooded world.

The movement and attack animations are on a decent level and illustrated with plausible audio effects that let your brain know that the battle is serious. And whenever your salvo hits the enemy well, the screen shakes a little bit, providing a more realistic feel and kinesthetic satisfaction.

Conclusion

Battle Warship: Naval Empire is a wonderful but a little expensive naval strategy. It has a gorgeous art style, very decent special effects and a pretty large community. However the latter is mostly centered in Asia, thus causing a slight disarray in the player community because of the different time zones.

But still, it's pretty tempting. So, ahoy, admiral!
